3. Booking and Reservations

3.1 Booking Process

When reserving a charter, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Supply valid and complete information
  • Render the necessary deposit delineated in your booking confirmation
  • Consent to these Terms & Conditions

3.2 Confirmation

A booking is deemed confirmed only after payment is made and we provide written confirmation. Service may be declined at our sole discretion.

3.3 Availability

Charters depend on the availability of yachts and favorable weather conditions. We strive to accommodate your preferred schedule wherever feasible.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Pricing

All pricing is in € and includes all relevant taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices can change without prior notice.

4.2 Payment Schedule

  • Deposit: 50% of the total charter cost is required at the time of booking
  • Balance: Must be paid 48 hours before the scheduled departure
  • Additional charges (if any): Payable upon charter completion

4.3 Payment Methods

We accept a range of payment options including major credit cards, bank wires, and certified checks. Payments are processed using secure and encrypted platforms.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Customer Cancellations

  • More than 72 hours prior to departure: Full refund minus processing fees
  • Between 24-72 hours prior to departure: 50% refund
  • Less than 24 hours prior to departure: No refund available

5.2 Weather Cancellations

In the instance that our captain assesses the weather as unsafe, we will suggest to:

  • Reschedule the charter at no additional charge to an available later date
  • Issue a full refund if rescheduling isn't feasible

5.3 Mechanical Issues

If mechanical issues occur with the designated vessel, we will make an effort to arrange a comparable alternative. If this isn’t possible, you will receive a full refund.

6. Safety and Conduct

6.1 Safety Requirements

All participants must:

  • Obey all instructions given by the crew
  • Utilize provided safety equipment when needed
  • Inform us of any medical conditions that might affect their safety
  • Stay within designated areas on the yacht

6.2 Prohibited Items

The following items are banned aboard:

  • Glass containers
  • Illegal substances
  • Firearms or other weapons
  • Excessive alcohol (past reasonable personal consumption)
  • Pets (unless arrangements have been made beforehand)

6.3 Conduct

We expect all guests to behave in a respectful and courteous manner. We reserve the right to terminate the charter without a refund if guests’ conduct threatens safety or interferes with others' experiences.

7. Liability and Insurance

7.1 Our Liability

We limit our responsibility to the cost paid for your charter. We are not accountable for:

  • Personal injuries due to passengers' negligence
  • Theft or damage to personal items
  • Indirect or consequential damages or any punitive damages
  • Delays caused by weather or situations outside our influence

7.2 Insurance Coverage

Our vessels and operations are insured comprehensively. It is up to passengers to ensure they have appropriate personal and travel insurance coverage.

7.3 Assumption of Risk

Engaging in our charter activities signifies your acknowledgement of inherent risks associated with maritime activities, taking personal responsibility for your own safety.

8. Modifications and Itinerary Changes

We retain the right to adjust itineraries, paths, or timetables due to operational requirements, security concerns or changing weather conditions. We aim to offer substitutes of equivalent quality wherever possible.

9. Force Majeure

We are not accountable for any delay, alteration, or cancellation resulting from circumstances not in our control, such as:

  • Extreme weather conditions
  • Natural disasters
  • Governmental actions or restrictions
  • Port shutdowns
  • Technical malfunctions
